Gifts: 5 Gifts for Women of Any Age

Surprise...I will say it again...Grandmother wants a gift too! Seriously people, just because your mother say "Don't get me anything...I don't need anything...get something for yourself" doesn't mean that she means it. In fact, I am here to say that she is probably a big fat liar! :)

When I asked the group of women bloggers that should know about that sort of thing, they suggested a donation to a favorite charity (I suggest with a social occasion like lunch or a charity dinner), a membership to a gym and one woman just wanted her living room furniture that was ordered last July.

I even have some suggestions. These are things I love:
Sleeve Scarf...I received one of these for
my birthday. I love it!

More to come later. But this is a good start. Many things are available for you to use your amazon prime account for free shipping. That account is very cool and can  pay for itself over and over.

Happy shopping!

  1. There seems to be a big debate about when is the right time to start the advertising, decorations, etc. Christmas is 6 wks away and that isn't a lot of time when you think of preparations. And isn't half the fun in the planning, preparation, anticipation? I like to celebrate the season and the coming of the light after the winter solstice. There is now snow on the ground to stay and the temperatures have dropped in NE Alberta, so it's much easier to think of the holiday. A thoughtful gift is always welcome. I don't think of spending an equal amount on each gift but choosing just the right gift for each person on my list; some will cost more, some less. Nice choices.

    1. Thank you Mona for you thoughtful response. I have been thinking about letting my children shop for their gifts in my house. I have a wonderful collection of very old things and some wonderfully trendy. I would love to share with them.
