I’ve often heard it said
That getting old is only
In our mind.
Would you mind
If I set the record
Straight?
Aging is such a wonderful
Miracle.
Wisdom
Waking
Seeing joy
Recognizing that
Aching that helps us appreciate
The sunny mornings
And the fire on those
That are dewy and damp.
Yes growing old is
One of the great
Joys of
Life. I will never pretend
It does not exist!
I am grateful.
