Eldest...Great post, with which I strongly identify. Eldest grandchild is 9. My wife, Norma, knows all there is to know about keeping these little treasures occupied and healthy. I know the rest. I know how to draw crayola dinosaurs with them and sing "Old Man River" to babies until they fall asleep. Between us we encompass all grandparental knowledge.
