Was Yesterday Monday?

I knew I was totally free of work when I began wondering if it was Monday. Really, what day of the week it is doesn't matter. In spite of that way of life, I still love Fridays.

Anyway....Monday was a lot of fun this week. I made a recipe based an experience in Santa Fe a couple of years ago. I think it was Carol Cassara that brought it to my attention. She talked about baking cauliflower with a sage flavored butter. I can see the restaurant she was talking about. I love Santa Fe. And the dish is absolutely delicious.

Roasted Cauliflower
  • Coat the bottom of a baking dish with olive oil
  • Place washed and disassembled cauliflower in a baking dish.
  • Crush together sage leaves, chives, garlic, salt and olive oil.
  • Rub cauliflower with the mixture.
  • Cover
  • Bake at 350 for one hour.
  • Yum!
You are going to love it.

I found a picture of a very small house online yesterday that I loved. I want to recreate my park model using the picture as a guide.
This is the way it looks now!
Is that purple do you think? I am not sure our park owner would go for purple but I think the style is darling!

So there you have it...the makings of a wonderful Monday. Happy Tuesday everyone.

I would love it if you would beam me up to Facebook or Twitter or Google+...make my Tuesday even better. After all it is all about me. :)

  1. I think that is a blue-violet not a true purple. Cute idea to remake your park model. What colors are acceptable to the owner? So many possibilities.

    1. I'm not sure and I am not asking. The minute I do they will tell me what I don't want to know. :)

  2. It's a nifty color and it will make the house stand out - which may be what you want in a park where everything looks alike.

    1. Not so much really. I just want it to be neat and clean and most of all, not look older than the rock of ages!

  3. I don't think it's purple either. And as much as I'm a huge purple lover, I actually prefer the color you have yours now! Sorry. LOL

  5. Our covenants wouldn't allow it. I think everyone has to go with silver. Looks wonderful, though! We'll look forward to seeing it this fall.

    1. I am looking for a vintage mobile home park, and they seem very accommodating about me buying a mobile home and going retro. I thought I would change a few exterior things such as paint a little at the time. I just hope it doesn't change when I move in; I actually plan to write up my plans for approval before I make the purchase final. Good luck; it won't hurt to ask unless they are unreasonable.
