I will have to admit that I feel that way about Facebook, Twitter and my blog here on Retire In Style Blog. I think I can get away with just about anything because I am sure no one is watching. Then, just when I think no one was watching, everyone is. I don't know if that good. I suppose it all depends.
Last week I posted a picture I had seen on my news feed.
For some very strange reason people I knew that I thought never saw anything I posted "liked" that post. There were 30 of my friends to be exact. It is ok...really it is. Just incase any of you are wondering, I am just fine. I am not senile. Really, I'm not. But for all of you that liked that post and think you are senile, let me know. I will send a card or something.
I'm just saying!
Could it be that many of that are of a "certain age" know the feeling - that senility will be an easy transition for us? Maybe we laugh at our fears that senior moments are the first signs of Alzheimers or another dementia?ReplyDelete
Absolutely...but that is a good thing. If we are doing everything that we can to remain mentally and physically healthy what is, is. Life is too much fun to not get a good laugh out of a "senior moment".Delete
I think it will be smooth for me as well. I know the feeling. Sometimes you just want to write about what you're feeling no matter who sees it and then are surprised when people do. And watch the wind if you're wearing a skirt when you're bare naked underneath. Just saying.ReplyDelete
OK, you made me laugh. I am always very aware of wind direction and the temperature outside. I am just saying...again!Delete
I guess a lot of people empathize with the feeling. I know I do.ReplyDelete
Admitting what nobody wants to admit to always surprising!ReplyDelete
True but I also thought that most of those people smiled when they were clicking "like".Delete
It reminds me of that saying, "This is driving me crazy." Then the response came, "That will be a short drive."ReplyDelete
I am laughing out loud!Delete
