Earning a Retirement Income by Living in Your Bigger House

One of the first things that people think about as they retire is where they will live. In many cases the income shrinks to a point that the house become a burden. But maybe there is a way to earn a retirement income just by staying in your big house. What brought that to my mind? Well, fellow blogger Karen Austin wrote an article about different types of housing available to seniors that need to have extra care. It is called Adding the Care to Senior Housing. I was reminded of a post I wrote a couple of years ago about co-housing and women that not only needed to downsize as they retired but also needed to find an added source of income.
